Itinerant teaching is challenging but rewarding. This course will familiarize students with the organizational workings of being an itinerant teacher of deaf and hard of hearing students. Specific topics will include: roles and responsibilities of the itinerant teacher working within schools, communication, and teamwork, conflict and negotiation, Individualized Education Programs, transitions and assessments and testing.
